Cloverstar let out a growl. She grabbed her kit by the scruff and ran into the nursery. "Stay here!" she hissed and ran to the warrior's den. "Get up! Wolves!!"

All the warriors were standing in the clearing. The queens and apprentice's were pulling leaves to block the entrance of the nursery when one of the queens turned to her. "You and Lionkit guard us!" Immediately she and Lionkit were guard the queens and new kits.

Firefoot ran to the nursery, "Whiskerpaw, I need your help. Come and guard the elder. Lionkit, back in the nursery."

"Ok." she mewed she gave a sad glance back at Lionkit and ran out of the nursery towards the elder. She could here the wolves getting closer. Could lionkit protect all the queens and kits by himself?

Goldenmist gathered all the kits and queens into the back of the nursery. "Lionkit, you stay ahead with me and help me guard them." she ordered. She grabbed the last kit and sat there waiting for the wolves.

She watched as the wolves lunged for her. There were three of them! And two queens. She grabbed one and raked her claws on his spine. He bit her and she yowled as one landed on her bu Honeymist was already pinning the scrawny ugly animal into the bottom of the den.

(before she could go to Cloverstar and get in trouble!) Brokenkit and Squirrelkit scrambled after the kits and queens when Goldenmist picked them up and hurried the pace following the elder and helping kits.
