Whiskerkit slipped out of the nursery and into the moonlight and walked towards her mothers den she hadn't seen her in a while and wanted to talk to her.

She laughed. "Only about a quarter of a moon to go. Besides, Lionkit is in the nursery. Is he not fun to play with?"

"When YOU make an apprentice I won't whine or complain, but until then I have a right." she mewed with a laugh and pounced on her hind feet. "Let's practice!" and with a yowl of fun pounced on her mother.
