Honeymist trotted into the nursery with her best friend, Goldenmist beside her.

Goldenmist sat down in her nest and Honeymist sat down next to her. They shared tongues but Goldenmist had nothing to say.

Goldenmist shrugged. Firefoot seemed angry with her and with her sister. "Do you know if anything is wrong with Firefoot?" she asked feeling hope for the first time in three days.

The she-cat felt alarmed at her best friend's question. "Umm... Well.... Cloverstar and Owlheart are... close. Firefoot doesn't like that."

"I know that! I'm not mouse-brained!" she snapped at her friend then Brokenkit walked over to her and she calmed down. "Go play with Lionkit." she said and the kit trotted off.
